Rudy Lobo, singer and guitar extraordinaire, left his earthly body on April 27, 2021.
Rudy (Rudolph G. Lobo) age 70, is survived by his wife Marian Lobo and brothers Robert Lobo and Ric Lobo.
A professional singer and guitarist since his high school years Rudy has been creating music and entertaining his entire life.
Not only a performer, he was an excellent accompanist, singing wonderful harmonies and playing what he described as “the right thing” to make the song sound great. He loved contributing his talents to making his band mates sound their best.
In addition to his musical talents, he also used his creativeness to improve life situations. If someone was feeling down, he often had funny quip or upbeat thought to help a person quickly come out of a funk with a laugh.
His love of jokes and puns is well known. When friends make a particular type of pun, they often refer to it as “Rudy joke” in reference to the types of jokes Rudy liked to make.
Rudy loved the simple things in life.
He loved driving around with his wife Marian, watching movies while eating popcorn smothered in butter, chili powder and parmesan. Home-made cherry pie was a favorite and he loved ice cream from the Brown Cow ice cream parlor.
He loved food: pizza, bok choy chicken, home made salsa, enchiladas, tamales and pork chops were on the top of the list.
A unique and well-loved individual, Rudy has a special place in our hearts.
We wish Rudy the best on his continuation of creating a happy life for himself and everyone he comes in contact with.
