Ronald Eubank, age 76, Vietnam Veteran, 101st Airborne Division, at rest June 21, 2025,  Interment with Military Honors to be accorded at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Monday August 25, 2:30 p.m. promptly.  Family and friends are welcome to attend.  Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery is located at 20953 W. Ron’s slogan as an advocate for military personnel listed as POW-MIA was “I walk in freedom for those who can’t." His legacy is he was dedicated to worthy causes and always tried to do the right thing. Ron was an ardent proponent for the POW-MIA postage stamp with his effort toward this end beginning in 1983 and ending in 1995, a period of twelve years. Ron was the POW-MIA Chairman for both the American Legion, Post No. 80, Downers Grove, Il and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 5220, Oak Lawn, Il during his twelve year campaign for the POW-MIA postage stamp. He prepared and coordinated petitions across the USA for a POW-MIA postage stamp and wrote letters to the Postmaster General and numerous politicians at the state and congressional level. He also wrote a letter to President William J. Clinton on January 31, 1994 to promote the issuance of POW-MIA postage stamp. His unwavering efforts paid off and the US Postal Service issued a POW-MIA postage stamp on Memorial Day, May, 29, 1995.  Accolades to Ronald A. Eubank.
