If tears could build a stairway,

and memories were a lane,

I would walk right up to heaven

and bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken

no time to say good-bye,

you were gone before I knew it

and only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness

and secrets tears still flow,

for what it meant to lose you

no one will ever know.

Cuando me vaya no lloren por mí. 

Pasen el vino y beban, acordándose

de el placer que les causaba mi risa. 

Mírense uno al otro, sonrían,

y no se les olvide abrazarse. 

Canten las canciones que me gustaban

mas y bailen una vez todas juntos.

Mientras, y andaré por allí,

corriendo por el campo, y volaré a 

la parte más alta del árbol que

siempre quise subir, cuando estés 

listo allí estaré....esperándote.
