Frances Vetrano

Frances Marie Vetrano age 77 of Chicago Illinois, formerly of Los Angeles, California, passed away due to congestive heart failure October 5, 2020.  

Frances was the loving mother of Elizabeth Thomas and the late Danny Thomas (Eugenia). Proud Grandmother of Danielle and Isabella Thomas. Loving Sister of the late Ross Vetrano (Yolanda) and Maria Vasich (Don).  Loving Aunt of Peter Vetrano (Chris), the late Ross Vetrano, Vicki Sopcak (Dan), Joe Vetrano, and Maria Hendry (Jack), Diana Saunders (Brian) and Stevan Vasich. Frances cherished her many friends in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Frances was raised on the north side of Chicago. She attended Saint Clement's Catholic Elementary School, Nettlehorst Elementary, and Lake View High School. 

Frances’ jobs through the years included being an IBM Keypunch Operator, working as a waitress at Milano’s in Chicago, and Celebrity Cab in Los Angeles. 

Frances studied acting at the Piven Theater Workshop in Evanston, Illinois and the Lee Strasburg Studio in Los Angeles. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

A Catholic Mass for Frances is scheduled for Thursday October 22, 2020 at St. Andrews Church in Chicago. Atttendance will be limited to very few due to Covid restrictions.

There will be a Virtual Memorial for Frances Vetrano via Zoom Saturday October 24, 2020 from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM Central Standard Time.
